An invitation for you - July 24

Next Tuesday, July 9th, I’ll be holding an evening drinks reception to show my latest work in the House of St John’s co-working space in Bath. This is a beautiful Grade 1 listed building owned by the St John’s charity, who have renovated it and use it as a co-working and event space.

I have work on two floors; the ground floor has my most recent, vibrant, abstract work and the first floor showcases work from the previous two years. There are 25 pieces on show so something for everyone. If you’d like to come along, just drop me an rsvp to shay@shayparsons.com.

Bath Open Studios Exhibition

I’m delighted to be included in this exhibition, running from 15th - 24th July at 44AD artspace in Bath. My image ‘Graffiti No. 1’ will be showing along with work from exhibitors from all of the Open Studio events across Bath.

We’re very lucky to have seven groups of artists who open their doors each year - I had a great time over the May bank holiday at Bear Flat Open Studios. I’ll be stewarding on Tuesday 16th if you’re passing!

After what I hope will be a bit of a break (!) in August I’ll be taking part in two exhibitions at the beginning of September. More details in the next blog, but as ever I’ll be at the Bath Contemporary Artists Fair on August 11th. It would be lovely to see you as I love meeting people to talk about what I photograph and why. I hope to see you.
